The survey says that only 8 % people end up accomplishing their New Year’s Resolutions.
Those 8% success stories tell us that the resolutions planning should not be too basic nor too complicated. The plan should be simple enough to be able to follow and detailed enough to measure your success on a monthly basis.
Here are 4 simple TIPS :
- Don’t get lost in trying to define too much detail up front.
- Don’t make it an endless wish list that is not practical to achieve in a year.
- Find a balance across various aspects of your life and depending upon your age and stage of life certain aspects of life might take more priority over the other. Let it be.
- Be realistic. Review what you have able to achieve in the past and then stretch yourself if you have to.
- Many believe in declaring the resolutions to a few / masses. The announcement can be more accountable.
